This weeks’s radio review is an odd and probably unintentionally funny documentary about Petter Amundsen’s theory on how (and why) Sir Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare’s plays. It’s an old theory, but this version goes a step further. Most of the laughs come from skeptic Robert Crumpton’s doubting face. The music lends a touch of gravitas that allows you to pretend to believe… but please, don’t actually believe!
